Project Reflection
This project was a different type of project that I haven’t been able to work on before in any of my other classes. Overall, my experience with this project was very interesting and it got me to look at the University in a different light that I hadn’t experienced before. With the subjects that I chose each subject had its own challenges with getting interviews or how to go about properly structuring the article. so that was something that I had to think about and actually think through fully before committing to something which was something that I tend to not always do with my writing.
This allowed me to really enhance a skill that I need for future and other classes. When choosing to do study techniques and just study things for the University I wanted to be able to make an impact with my article for future students which I feel like this may help others. Throughout the process of dealing with this type of structuring was something to be an adjustment for and I definitely like that it was in the style because I was able to explore my more creative side of writing which I don’t tend to. Also, I want to do more due to this experience.
Another aspect of this was becoming more like a reporter and actually reaching out and interviewing people and getting to see different sides of students as well as faculty and different areas of the college that I didn’t really have any knowledge of.
The process of coming up with the pitch to writing, Drafting and getting workshopped. This whole process was very insightful and very useful to put me in a better state of mind to whether or not I would become a reporter in my job after college. It gives me a snapshot of what could be my life in the future but also gives me a Snapchat shot of the college in a way that I would have never thought of because I have such a limited scope of where I am in my college life and
